Diabetessupport.se is here to support you – whether you are living with type 1 or type 2 diabetes, or caring for someone who is, such as a child, partner, or close relative.
Consultations are available in both Swedish and English. We can also provide consultations in Portugues.

Diabetessupport.se was founded by Maria Stålgren – a licensed nurse with over 50 years of personal experience living with type 1 diabetes.
Here, you’ll find support to navigate everyday life and get support and motivation to face challenges — with diabetes as a lifelong “companion”.
Our focus is on the whole person living with diabetes, with a holistic perspective of health: physical, emotional, and social well-being. We stand on scientific evidence and proven experience in combination with personal experiences.

Diabetessupport.se, legally registered as Diabetessupport 365, is a certified healthcare provider with IVO – the Health and Social Care Inspectorate. We comply with all relevant laws and standards to ensure safe, highquality care.

10% of our income supports diabetes research and global health initiatives.
All consultations take place through a secure, ISOcertified and CEregistered healthcare platform that meets the requirements of the Patient Data Act, GDPR, and the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR). All data are encrypted and processed within Sweden. Video sessions are accessed via a secure link and require no downloads or external software.
